"Spotlight Figure" Bay Area Exhbition

Opening Reception:  Saturday, March 14th, 7-9PM

The 2nd Annual “Spotlight” exhibition showcases the figurative work of six local San Francisco Bay Area artists:  Victor Cartagena, Michal Gavish, Paul Gibson, Christine Aria Hostetler, Katja Leibenath and Fernando Reyes.  The exhibition shows a range of figurative art, from realistic to abstracted and from geometric color studies to social commentary.

EXHIBITION:  March 7th - April 25th, 2015

The annual "Spotlight" series of exhibitions showcase artists in six categories: Paint, Draw, Print, Shoot, Sculpt and Eccentric.  The exhibition highlights artists that we work with in our Arc Fine Art Consulting practice.

Arc Fine Arts Consulting is established as a natural extension of the mission of Arc Gallery and Studios.  Arc is dedicated to showcasing and promoting emerging and established artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Here we are blessed with some of the most prestigious art schools in the country.  On a per capita basis San Francisco boasts a higher percentage of working artists than any other city in the country.  The opportunity for local collectors and businesses to build collections which tap into and support these communities is unparalleled.  Arc Fine Arts is singularly dedicated to fostering those connections.

Since establishing Arc in 2010, the Gallery and Project Gallery have provided exhibition opportunities for over 500 mostly local artists.   Our artist studios are the working home for 12 outstanding local artists.   Additionally, our complex houses Kearny Street Workshop, a local multi-disciplinary Pan-Asian arts organization and our gallery has hosted numerous exhibitions for local arts organizations.  Our goal has been to foster community and to provide an arc between our vibrant Bay Area artist communities and Bay Area art enthusiasts, collectors and business communities.  Arc Fine Arts consultants are uniquely qualified to build these bridges.  Collectively, the partners share over fifty years of experience in art galleries, art consulting, art non-profit volunteering & management, and art-related academic training.  Our extensive experience and personal involvement with local art organizations, in particular, has allowed us to build an unrivaled network of relationships with artists here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
