“Reflections” showcases the artwork of residents from Catholic Charities Peter Claver Community. Each colorful piece reflects the resiliency of these previously homeless adults, living with disabling HIV/AIDS, mirroring how they see themselves and the world around them. Catholic Charities Peter Claver Community is a comprehensive on-site residential care facility for chronically homeless individuals living with disabling HIV/AIDS. Opened in 1985, the program marked one of the earliest attempts by any organization to aggressively serve those sick and dying from HIV/AIDS.

Founded in 1907 and rooted in faith traditions of charity and justice, Catholic Charities supports families, aging adults and adults with disabilities, and youth through social services and opportunities for healthy growth and development.
