ARTISTS RECEPTION: September 10th 4-7PM
CLOSING RECEPTION: September 28th 6-8PM

"Such stories... open a door on Other Time, and if we pass through, though only for a moment, we stand outside our own time, outside Time itself, maybe."
— J.R.R. Tolkien (On Fairy-Stories)

Fairy tales offer something to us all, opening the door to reflection upon our own reality yet from a fascinating place of storytelling. The imaginary worlds that open up with ‘once upon a time’ permeate our thoughts while at the same time offering us fragmented insights into the archetypal and personal myths that we wrestle with every day. Mixed media artist Tanya Wilkinson and sculptor Kristine Mays have created a pop-up exhibition inspired by classic tales that will take you on a journey to remember as they present work that wrestles with the practicality of life and the world of imagination.

Exhibition dates:
Weds, Aug 31st - Weds, Sept 28th
