This exhibition is a celebration of their having been sought out and brought together by assemblage artists Spencer Brewer and Esther Siegel in 2021 prominently represented and published in the “Lost And Found” fine art book. EXHIBITION: November 19 - December 17, 2022 |
Featured Artists: Spencer Brewer, Hans Bruhner, Larry Fuente, Dianne Hoffman, Cat Kaufman, Monty Monty, Sean O'Donnell, & Esther Siegel
Assemblage art is the merging of different objects into a singular creative expression. Endless possibilities are presented to transform often unrelated articles into a new, homogenous idea. One unique object can be all it takes to bring a composition to fruition. The thrill of the find is an evident factor in this medium that places an artist into hunter mode. Everywhere you look items that are tossed away as useless beg to be discovered and repurposed into unique works of art. Objects in a finished sculpture may or may not be recognizable, summoning awe and wonder for the viewer, and with it, curiosity.
