JUROR'S STATEMENT:
Welcome to DREAM…
From pipe dreams to sweaty nightmares, I found myself engulfed in the subconscious imaginings of a multitude of artist's work. For DREAM, each artist presented their interpretations of subconscious, one off and sometimes reoccurring remembrances. Much like dreams themselves, this collective body of work ran the gamut in regard to subject matter, media and style.
While jurying and making final selections, I found myself consciously directed by the execution of each work, and its final outcome in relation to the artist’s description of the dream itself. “You may say I’m a dreamer. But, I’m not the only one.” Good night; sweet dreams…
