“MANAGE YOUR ART: The Artist as Entrepreneur”
- As the gallery paradigm shifts, artists are expected to take a more active role in the management of their careers and to think of their studios as "small businesses." Classic principles of entrepreneurship provide insight on how artists take control and thrive in an increasingly fragmented and unstable art business.

“OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE CITY: Meet the San Francisco Arts Commission”
- Get a inside look at the San Francisco Arts Commission with an overview of the city’s public art program, the SFAC curatorial practices, how to apply for upcoming opportunities, and the SFAC Galleries’ mission to provide local artists with the platform to show their work alongside other contemporary artists from around the globe
- with guest speakers: Susan Pontious, Director of the Public Art Program, and Meg Shiffler, Civic Art Collection and SFAC Galleries Director
